Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager / Senior Accountant to join our team in Abuja. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing financial guidance to our program teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IMC's financial management standards
• Provide financial guidance and support to program teams, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government agencies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a non-profit or humanitarian organization
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
