Job Description

The accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete accounting records, supporting sound financial control, and ensuring the timely processing of transactions for VOSIEDA’s institutional and project operations. The post ensures compliance with Liberian statutory requirements, donor regulations, budgets, and internal policies through proper bookkeeping, reconciliations, documentation, payroll support, financial reporting, and audit readiness. The accountant contributes to the integrity, transparency, and accountability of VOSIEDA’s finance function and supports efficient use of resources across grants and core operations.

Expected Deliverables

• Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Reports (accurate, timely, donor-compliant).
• Updated Financial Ledgers & Reconciliations (bank, cashbook, accounts).
• Audit-Ready Documentation (organized vouchers, receipts, invoices, payroll records).
• Cash Flow Reports & Fund Requests (ensuring program continuity).
• Payroll Reports (salaries, deductions, statutory remittances).
