Job Purpose
The Chapter Officer shall handle the day-to-day work/administrative duties. She/He will ensure proper flow of the chapter office procedures and supports the Executive Secretary/Accounts Officer and Chapter members by carrying out chapter office duties. Maintains a positive and friendly Chapter image by acting as the first line of contact to all members, Partners, and vendors in person, online, and via telephone.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaison with members, sponsors, and other stakeholders for the successful management of the Chapter activities.
- Organizing Certification Review classes in liaison with the certifications Director and other stakeholders involved and attending student inquiries and other matters.
- Attending student inquiries and other matters. Coordinate and organize for students preparing for the certifications Classes and exams.
- Ensure timely submission and accurate documentation of the Board Minutes and send them with the Supervisor for review the following day after the Board meeting.
- Assists in the Implementation of the Chapter annual plan activities and organizing and coordinating the monthly, quarterly, and annual workshops.
- Maintaining general office files, including Job files, vendor files, and other files related to the Chapter’s operations and maintaining appropriate records at the Chapter Office, both electronic records and hard copy records.

- Coordinate and organize for students preparing for the certifications Classes and exams.
- Ensure timely issuance of all CPD certificates to all members who have attended the training/workshops/webinars.
- Works closely with the Marketing and Communication Directors to ensure that all the marketing materials are availed and delivered on time, keeps track of all the marketing items from ISACA Global and take care of website functions and social media profiles.
- Carrying out clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents, including office correspondence, memos, resumes, and presentations.
- Overseeing the maintenance of office facilities and equipment. Ensure that the chapter data is backed up.
- Arranges meetings by scheduling appropriate meeting times, booking rooms, and planning refreshments.
- Assists in planning and arranging events including all logistics required.
- Drafts, formats, prints, photocopies and files relevant documents as and when needed, manages outgoing post and records data on special deliveries and annual stock taking of the items.
- Provide timely and accurate weekly reports of the secretariate activities/tracker.
- Coordinating and managing appointments, meetings, and the conference room schedule to prevent duplicate bookings.
- Deputizes the accounts officer in case unavailable.
- Performing other relevant duties and assignments when needed and as may be assigned by the supervisor.
