Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of agile adoption within the relevant business unit, ensuring practices are consistently refined and embedded. Develop, maintain, and strengthen strategic working relationships across multiple functional areas to promote collaboration, alignment, and knowledge sharing. Deliver Agile training to new team members and provide ongoing upskilling opportunities for existing teams through modular and targeted learning interventions as required. Provide regular insights and feedback to line management regarding team dynamics, risks, and potential challenges impacting delivery or performance. Coach teams in the application of the Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) framework, incorporating techniques from various agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Extreme Programming. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and enable an environment that supports consistent and successful delivery outcomes. Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to enhance collaboration, innovation, and effective execution of work. Guide product delivery teams to ensure adherence to agile ceremonies such as iteration planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Partner with leadership and delivery stakeholders to develop and implement plans aimed at increasing agile maturity, ensuring teams work effectively and sustainably through improved collaboration. Ensure retrospectives are conducted at the end of each iteration to support continuous team learning and improvement. Track and report on key performance and delivery metrics aligned to the chosen methodology (e.g., Scrum or Kanban). Facilitate group sessions including retrospectives, team kick-offs, conflict resolution workshops, and decision-making discussions. Provide consistent and constructive feedback based on observed team and individual behaviours to support growth and improvement. Deliver Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) training to ensure shared understanding of the framework and its associated methodologies. Maintain strong working knowledge of agile frameworks, methodologies, and practices, and understand when each approach is most effectively applied. Proactively identify and escalate risks that may impact team performance or delivery outcomes. Encourage early identification and resolution of issues, modelling the importance of addressing challenges promptly. Actively participate in external agile communities, including forums such as lean coffees and user groups. Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in agile and Disciplined Agile Delivery. Share knowledge, insights, and best practices on internal collaboration platforms such as Confluence.
