Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager, Medical Underwriting Retention to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the medical underwriting process, ensuring that all medical underwriting activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the medical underwriting team to ensure that all medical underwriting activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement medical underwriting strategies to improve underwriting efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct medical underwriting reviews to ensure that all medical underwriting activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all medical underwriting activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide training and support to medical underwriting staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their duties effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. medicine, nursing, health sciences).
• At least 5 years of experience in medical underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of medical underwriting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
