Job Description

Our client with mining operations in West Africa, is seeking a Control & Automation Engineer with strong systems integration experience to support, maintain, and improve plant automation systems using modern industrial and SCADA platforms, while ensuring reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. Deliver integrated automation solutions across the plant. Configure, test, commission, and optimise control systems. Ensure automation work meets safety, legal, and company standards. Follow permits, isolations, change controls, and compliance requirements. Lead and support technicians during maintenance, faults, and projects. Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to standard. Plan automation maintenance and improvement work. Coordinate with operations, projects, OEMs, and IT teams. Maintain and improve PLC, SCADA, HMI, and network reliability. Lead fault finding, upgrades, and technical support. Prepare technical reports and maintain system documentation. Ensure backups, standards, and configuration control are in place. Coach and develop technical team members, promoting safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
