Job Description
The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning is seeking to recruit a Data Analyst to support the implementation of the Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy (EDPRS) and other development programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform policy decisions and program implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns
- Developing and maintaining databases and data systems to support data analysis
- Providing data-driven insights to support policy decisions and program implementation
- Collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement data collection tools and methods
- Ensuring data quality and integrity through data validation and verification
- Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to communicate data insights to stakeholders
- Providing technical assistance to staff on data analysis and interpretation
- Staying up-to-date with new tools and technologies in data analysis and visualization
