Job Description

To conduct physical inspection of all households in the district to verify water supply connections and ensure that all households receiving water services are captured and registered according to the commercial policy. The successful candidates will be required to:

• Conduct physical inspections of households and premises to verify water supply connections.
• Identify and record all customers receiving water services who are not captured on the billing system.
• Verify and update customer details such as names, NRC, contact numbers, and physical addresses.
• Verify meter numbers, meter status, and account information for all connected households.
• Capture and record data accurately using prescribed forms or digital tools.
• Identify illegal connections, bypasses, or unregistered water users and report to supervisors.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inspection and data collection reports.
• Work closely with billing and customer service office to ensure updated data is entered into the billing database.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism when handling customer information.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
