Job Description
To provide strategic leadership and technical direction in managing human, financial and material resources, driving the commission's objectives
Provide inputs for the formulation of policies of the commission
Ensures the development of guidelines, procures and processes on the management of financial, human and materials resources of financial, human and materials resources of the commission
Provides technical advice on administrative and labour laws and regulations in the public service
Ensures the effective and efficient administration and management of human, material and financial resources of the commission
Ensures the development and maintenance of human resource management information systems for the commission
Ensures collaboration with other divisions in the implementation of programmes and activities of the commission
Ensures the development, implementation and review of administrative and human resource management policies, systems, structures and manuals for the commission
Ensures the maintenance of a cordial management - Union relationship
Ensures the preparation of the annual financial performance reports of the commission
Advise management on the financial management laws, regulations, fiscal policies and any other financial issues
Ensures the implementations of recommendations contained in audit reports
Ensures the development and implementation of guidelines for the management of estate, transport, public relations, logistics and the provision of services
Ensures the effective and efficient management corporate programmes and activities of the commission
Ensures the preparation of the work plan and budget of the division
Ensures the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the division
Requirements/Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's Degree in Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or any other related field from an accredited tertiary institution
- Membership of relevant professional body will be an added advantage
- A minimum of 10 years of post qualification relevant work experience, 5 years of which must be in a senior management position in reputable institution
- Must pass a competitive selection interview
- Availability of vacancy in the grade f Director, Finance and Administration
- A minimum of 5 years on the grade of Deputy Director
- Must have a satisfactory staff performance appraisal staff
- Must pass a competitive selection interview
