Finanace & Capital Strategy Lead at Commerce Alliance Holdings Limited

Job Description

We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven finance leader to build and lead the finance function across our asset management and investment platforms. This role goes beyond traditional accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing financial systems, structuring investment products, managing capital flows, and supporting the Group’s AUM growth strategy. The ideal candidate must be comfortable operating at the intersection of finance, investment strategy, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Capital Structuring - Design and implement financial frameworks to support AUM growth targets
• Develop pricing and fee structures for investment products
• Support capital raising initiatives with financial models and investor materials
• Work closely with leadership on capital allocation and deployment strategies
• Asset Management & Fund Operations - Oversee financial operations of investment products and portfolios
• Monitor AUM growth, fund performance, and liquidity positions
• Ensure proper segregation and management of client funds in line with regulatory standards
• Coordinate with custodians, trustees, and other financial counterparties
• Regulatory & Compliance Reporting - Ensure full compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations
• Prepare and oversee statutory and regulatory financial reports
• Implement internal controls aligned with best practices in fund management
• Financial Systems & Controls - Build scalable finance and reporting systems to support business growth
• Establish strong internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent financial risk
• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and audit processes
• Leadership & Business Partnering - Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team
• Provide financial insights to guide business decisions
• Build and lead a lean, high-performance finance team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CFA) strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5–12 years experience in finance, with at least 3 years in financial services or asset management
• Strong understanding of fund structures, capital markets, and investment products
• Proven experience in financial modelling, capital structuring, and strategic finance
• Familiarity with SEC regulations and reporting requirements
