French teacher – IGCSE & A Level

Minimum of 2 years experience

Qualification: Degree or Masters in French

Focus: Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing.

Responsibilities

• Transition toward critical analysis. Responsibilities include teaching students how to analyze French literature and film, and how to debate complex social and political issues.
• Improve student fluency and spontaneous response in French.
• Preparing and marking "mock" exams that mirror the structure of IGCSE/A-Level papers.
• Conducting the formal oral examinations. This involves acting as the examiner, recording the sessions, and ensuring all board-mandated protocols are followed.
• Monitoring student progress and identifying those who require extra help.
