Our client is seeking a creative and technically skilled Graphic Designer to support operations across Africa and Australia. The role combines visual storytelling with technical communication to promote safety technologies used in mining, tunnelling, and emergency response environments. The Graphic Designer will translate complex engineering concepts into clear, engaging visual content across digital, print, video, 3D renders, and trade show materials, working closely with Engineering, Business Development, Operations, and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high‑quality visual content for print, digital, video, and web platforms.
  • Translate complex engineering and technical specifications into clear infographics, illustrations, and presentations.
  • Create 3D renders and visualizations for manufacturing, marketing, and sales collateral.
  • Produce, edit, and optimize video content, including promotional videos, product demonstrations, and internal communications.
  • Develop motion graphics and animations to support marketing campaigns and product storytelling.
  • Design and maintain creative assets for digital marketing, social media, and global campaigns.
  • Support visual execution for trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate events.
  • Ensure strict adherence to and consistent application of brand guidelines across all media and regions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, business development managers, operations teams, and external suppliers to execute creative projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced, global environment.
  • Support UX/UI, website design, and web asset development where required.
  • Apply data‑driven design principles, including A/B testing and performance analysis, to improve creative impact.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience producing 3D renders using Key Shot or similar 3D visualization software.
  • Advanced skills in video production, editing, and post‑production.
  • Working knowledge of motion graphics software such as After Effects.
  • Familiarity with social media design and management tools (Canva, Hootsuite, or similar).
  • Understanding of web design and development, including HTML, CSS, and WordPress, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and contemporary web design standards.
  • Strong creative and visual problem‑solving capability.
  • Effective cross‑functional collaborator with the ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to justify and explain design decisions clearly.
  • Strong time‑management and prioritization skills in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality output.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and global business environment.
