Head of Information Technology — World Vision Rwanda

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Information Technology to lead our IT team in Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and technical expertise to ensure the effective use of technology in achieving our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the IT team, ensuring that technology solutions are aligned with organizational objectives.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the effective use of technology.
• Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's data and systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that meet business needs.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on the use of technology.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading IT teams and implementing technology solutions.
• Strong technical skills, including experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Language: English (fluent).
