Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Information Technology to lead our IT team in Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead the IT team in Rwanda, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of IT services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT projects and initiatives.
- Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.
- Ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems and data.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to support the development and implementation of new technologies and systems.
- Collaborate with the global IT team to ensure alignment with global IT strategies and standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government agencies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff and partners on the use of IT systems and tools.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records of IT activities and transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably in a non-profit or humanitarian organization.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful IT strategies and projects.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with cloud-based technologies, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment, with a strong understanding of cultural differences and nuances.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant certifications are an added advantage.
