Job Summary:

The Head of Information Technology will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of World Vision Rwanda's technology strategy, ensuring that the organization's technology infrastructure and systems are aligned with its mission and goals. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a technology strategy that aligns with World Vision Rwanda's mission and goals
• Lead the development and implementation of technology projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software development, and data analytics
• Manage and maintain the organization's technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases
• Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's technology systems and data
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support the organization's programs and operations
• Provide technical support and training to staff members
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and implement technology policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with World Vision Rwanda's technology policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the non-profit sector
• Strong technical background, including experience with infrastructure, software development, and data analytics
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff members from diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
