Job Summary:

The Head of Information Technology will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of World Vision Rwanda's technology strategy, ensuring that the organization's technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and efficient. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing IT teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement technology strategies that align with World Vision Rwanda's mission and goals
• Lead the IT team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of technology systems and infrastructure
• Ensure the security and integrity of World Vision Rwanda's technology systems and data
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that meet business needs
• Manage IT budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of technology
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and advise the organization on their potential impact
• Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners
• Ensure compliance with World Vision Rwanda's technology policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT leadership or management
• Strong technical background in IT, including experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience in managing IT teams and budgets
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong understanding of World Vision Rwanda's mission and values
• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
• Ability to travel within Rwanda and internationally as needed
