Head of Information Technology — World Vision Rwanda

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Information Technology to lead our IT team in Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring the security and integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with World Vision Rwanda's goals and objectives
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems
• Ensure the security and integrity of our data, including implementing and maintaining data backup and recovery systems
• Provide technical support and training to staff on IT-related issues
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective use of IT systems and services
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies, and make recommendations for their adoption

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a non-profit organization
• Strong technical skills, including experience with hardware, software, and network systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Experience with data security and integrity
• Familiarity with World Vision's IT systems and policies
