Head of Information Technology — World Vision Rwanda

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Information Technology to lead our IT team in Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the IT department, ensuring the effective use of technology to support the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the IT team, ensuring the effective use of technology to support the organization's mission and goals.
• Develop and implement IT strategies and plans that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
• Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's IT systems and data.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support the organization's goals and objectives.
• Provide technical support and training to staff members as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in IT, preferably in a non-profit or humanitarian organization.
• Strong technical skills, including experience with hardware, software, and network systems.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff members at all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• French language skills are an asset.
