Director of Operations

Job Summary:

The Head of Information Technology will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of World Vision Rwanda's information technology strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in leading IT teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with World Vision Rwanda's goals and objectives
• Lead the IT team in the development and implementation of new technologies and systems
• Ensure the security and integrity of World Vision Rwanda's IT systems and data
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective use of IT systems and services
• Manage IT budgets and resources
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with World Vision Rwanda's IT policies and procedures
• Collaborate with World Vision International to ensure alignment with global IT strategies
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT leadership
• Strong technical background in IT systems and technologies
• Experience in leading IT teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
