HR Manager - SRI EMAS

Job Description

We are a reputable steel company in Ghana, based in Tema, which is actively engaged in metal recycling and steel production for residential and commercial sectors primarily in Africa. Our products include C-Channels, Angle Bars, Mild Steel Reinforced Bars and High Tensil Reinforced Steel.

Title: HR Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement HR strategy aligned with business and production goals
• Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Drive performance management, discipline and workforce productivity
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and talent development for plant and office staff
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies and industrial regulations
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
• Promote a strong health, safety and workplace culture within the plant environment
• Support leadership in building a results-oriented and accountable workforce

Qualification Required & Experience:

• Degree in Human Resource Management or related field (Master's/professional certification is an advantage)
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing or heavy industry
• Strong knowledge of labour laws, employee relations and HR best practices
• Proven ability to manage workforce dynamics in a demanding operational environment
