The YIBS center is looking for a Human Resource Manager

Position Type

  • Full-time contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, processes, and systems in line with regulatory requirements and institutional goals.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and talent management to attract and retain top talent.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, payroll coordination, and compliance with Cameroon labour laws.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture, employee relations, and effective communication across departments.
  • Manage performance management programmes, learning and development initiatives, and succession planning.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Ready to work in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive HR experience in a private higher education institution is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining confidentiality with diverse stakeholders.
