You will contribute to a pilot project supporting cervical cancer elimination efforts in Nigeria by helping integrate HPV testing into existing HIV laboratory workspaces. The project aims to strengthen secondary prevention through efficient clinical-to-laboratory workflows, improved provider training, reliable testing operations, and timely result delivery for clinical intervention.

Within your first 3 months, you are expected to support provider training on sample collection protocols, monitor workflow integration and data tracking across the pilot, document operational challenges and success stories, and contribute to the assessment of how existing molecular infrastructure can support long-term health resilience.

Your work will help improve access to screening services, optimize the use of existing resources, and support a more sustainable and scalable approach to cervical cancer prevention. This internship offers a rare opportunity to contribute to a nationally relevant health initiative while gaining hands-on experience in laboratory operations, stakeholder coordination, and healthcare system strengthening.
