Investment Officer

The Investment Officer will be responsible for originating, assessing, structuring, and monitoring investment opportunities, including sourcing and screening investment opportunities, undertaking market assessments of financial institutions, liaising with national financial institutions, leading investment structuring, appraisal and underwriting support for local financial institutions, and coordinating closely with UNCDF and partner technical teams. The Investment Officer will work under the direct supervision of UNCDF Regional Investment Specialist (RIS) for Western and Central Africa and the Caribbean. The Investment Officer may be required to travel for field missions to other regions of DRC such as Kisangani and Lubumbashi.
