Junior Full-Stack Developer (AI-Assisted / Vibe Coding) - Oyarifa

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Full-Stack Developer who understands the fundamentals of web and mobile application development and is comfortable leveraging AI-assisted coding tools (such as Replit, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to accelerate development. This role is ideal for a beginner developer who has hands-on experience building projects, is eager to learn, and can work independently while using AI tools to support coding, debugging, and feature implementation. You will collaborate on building and improving a modern application across web and mobile platforms, focusing on functionality, usability, and rapid iteration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining web and mobile applications
• Build frontend interfaces using modern frameworks
• Support backend development, APIs, and database integration
• Use AI coding tools to generate, refactor, and debug code efficiently
• Translate basic product requirements into working features
• Test, fix bugs, and improve application performance
• Participate in code reviews and continuous learning
• Document basic features and development processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of full-stack development concepts
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (any of the following):
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• React, Next.js, Vue, or similar frameworks
• Basic backend knowledge (any of the following):
• Node.js, Express, Django, Flask, or similar
• Experience or exposure to mobile app development:
• React Native, Flutter, Expo, or similar
• Ability to use AI-assisted coding tools effectively
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Experience using Git/GitHub for version control
• Strong willingness to learn and improve

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Deployed a personal or demo app (web or mobile)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Firebase, AWS, Vercel, etc.)
• Basic UI/UX awareness
• Experience working on MVPs or startup projects
