A leading food manufacturing business, supplying innovative prepared food solutions in a high-volume, 7-day operational environment, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner / Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Plan weekly and monthly preventive and corrective maintenance activities using the CMMS
- Allocate work to artisans and assistants and coordinate with production
- Monitor job progress and follow up on overdue work
- CMMS & Maintenance Data
- Create, update and close work orders accurately
- Maintain asset master data and equipment histories
- Capture failures, downtime, labour and material usage
- Produce maintenance reports and KPIs
- Spares & Stock Control
- Maintain correct stock levels for critical spares and consumables
- Raise purchase requisitions and ensure correct receiving and binning of stock
- Conduct cycle counts and stock takes and investigate variances
- Supplier & Contractor Coordination
- Source quotes and place orders with approved suppliers
- Track order status and resolve delivery or invoice issues
- Coordinate site access, permits and documentation for external contractors
- Administration, Compliance & Support
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, manuals and drawings
- Assist with audits, shutdown planning and general maintenance administration
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety and company procedures

Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance planning or maintenance administration role
- Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment (advantageous)
- Experience working with a CMMS (e.g. Pragma, Syspro, or similar)
- Strong MS Excel and general computer skills
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment and spare parts
- Experience in stock control or storekeeping (beneficial)
