Panel Beaters (2 Positions)

Job Description

Panel beaters will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to their original shape and finish. The role involves assessing damage, removing dents, replacing or repairing panels, and preparing surfaces using specialized tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting damaged vehicles to assess the extent of repairs needed
• Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies
• Preparing surfaces and spray painting to match original finishes
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion
• Ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards
• Using specialized tools and equipment for bodywork repairs
• Maintain clear communication with clients, including progress updates

Requirements

• Craft Certificate in Panel Beating or specialized Auto-Body Repair (Panel Beating and Spray Painting) or equivalent
• 2-3 years’ experience as a panel beater
• Strong knowledge of panel repair techniques and spray painting
• Panel beating experience working on trucks is added advantage
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
