Piping Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for the pipeline design, installation and commissioning in the CPF station construction project to ensure that the pipeline system meets the design requirements and industry standards and meets the project quality and schedule objectives. Responsible for the daily maintenance and regular inspection of pipelines, ensure the safety and reliability of pipelines, and timely deal with problems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and planning of oil and gas pipelines to ensure the safety, economy and efficiency of pipeline systems. Factors such as terrain, environment, materials and technology need to be considered.
• Prepare pipeline design documents, including pipeline layout drawing, pipeline material list, pipeline stress analysis report, etc.
• Select suitable pipe materials and fittings to ensure that their performance and life meet the project requirements.
• Participate in the project management of pipeline engineering, coordinate all aspects of resources, formulate project schedule, and ensure that the project is completed on time and on budget.
• Guide the site construction team for pipeline installation and ensure that the installation process complies with the design drawings and technical specifications.
• Organize and implement the pressure test and leakage test of the pipeline system to ensure the safety and reliability of the system.
• Carry out on-site supervision during the pipeline construction process to ensure that the construction meets the design specifications and safety standards, and solve the problems in the construction in time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in an engineering related field, such as petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or Welding technical engineering, is usually required.
• Rich experience in pipeline design, construction, maintenance or operation.
• Familiar with pipeline design software (such as AutoCAD, Piperack, etc.), fluid mechanics, material science, etc.
• Ability to effectively manage project schedule and team collaboration.
• Understanding of safety standards and regulations related to pipeline engineering.
