Position:

Preschool Head.

Location: East Legon Hills, Greater Accra Region, Ghana

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and direction for the preschool, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support teaching staff to maintain excellent classroom practices.
  • Monitor children’s progress and ensure effective assessment and reporting systems.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring open communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the preschool, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Organize staff training and professional development opportunities.
  • Promote the school’s vision, values, and reputation within the community.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field - Masters in Early Childhood development is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years leadership experience in a preschool setting
  • Strong knowledge of early years curriculum and best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Passion for child development and early learning
