Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement and Logistics Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement and logistics functions of the company, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, and contract management. • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve efficiency. • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels. • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve delivery times and reduce costs. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of procurement and logistics functions. • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain. • Analyze and report on procurement and logistics metrics to inform business decisions. • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Provide training and support to staff on procurement and logistics procedures. • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
