The World Food Programme is seeking a Programme Policy Officer (Disaster Risk Financing Strategy and Insurance) - SSA9. The overall objective of this consultancy is to support MINECOFIN in coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of the Disaster Risk Financing Strategy and the National Insurance Strategy (NIS), ensuring effective execution, accountability, stakeholder alignment, and measurable impact. The specific objectives include developing and operationalizing a coordination framework for the implementation of both strategies, designing and institutionalizing a robust Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework, facilitating stakeholder collaboration, providing technical advisory support, and strengthening institutional capacity for sustainable long-term implementation.
