Job Description

Senior Manager role -Led MERL strategy, systems, and processes, ensuring rigorous monitoring, reporting, and real-time learning across programme interventions.

Manage programme logframe, results verification, forecasting, and indicator methodology reviews.

Apply attribution and Value for Money (VfM) frameworks to assess the contribution and efficiency of programme results.

Produce high-quality MEL reports for FCDO, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.

Lead internal impact assessments using qualitative and mixed-method tools.

Build the staff and partner capacity on MEL systems, tools, and adaptive management.

Oversee MEL consultants and ensure quality assurance across deliverables.

Serve as the primary focal point for MEL-related communications with the Team Leader and FCDO.

• Designed and operationalised national MERL systems, tools, indicators, and data quality processes.
• Acted as Regional Knowledge Management Lead for 14 countries, strengthening KM systems, learning practices, and documentation.
• Led adolescent girls’ COVID-19 research and girls-led participatory studies, ensuring feminist, ethical, and participatory approaches.
• Guided country strategy baseline processes and developed benchmarks for strategic indicators.
• Coordinated learning reviews, facilitated reflection sessions, and strengthened cross-country communities of practice.
• Partnered with government and INGOs to harmonise MEL processes and strengthen accountability mechanisms.
