Research Assistants (KAP Survey)

Job Description

The job description is as follows: Participate in the research assistants training/Orientation. Perform field data collection and management activities, administer informed consent, conduct and complete interviews in accordance with the study protocol. Ensure that data entered in Kobo tool Box application is accurate and complete. Answer or refer questions that the respondents may ask before or during the course of data collection. Collect data and participate in data management processes including validation to ensure the data meets the quality standards as defined by ZOA. Ensure daily uploads of the data into the server. Report key issues of concern during data collection and hand them over to the ZOA team at the end of each day. Ensure high-level data protection and integrity. Conduct Key informant and in-depth interview for the study with selected respondents. Participate in the transcription of qualitative data and handover hardcopies of this data to ZOA staff. Provide the Team Leader with daily updates including interviews completed, and any other important information about assigned participants. Any other duties assigned by the data collection team leaders or the project manager.
