Job Description
Maintain and enhance existing functionality, while designing and developing new components to support evolving business needs. Develop a deep understanding of the current product architecture and business domain, collaborating with business analysts to refine requirements and implement high quality solutions. Refactor, optimise, and modernise codebases to ensure long term maintainability, scalability, and adaptability to future requirements. Assess and improve application performance, reliability, and high availability capabilities across all environments. Create comprehensive unit tests and integrated system tests to validate that new and existing functionality operates as intended. Support testing processes by developing and executing functional test scenarios during development. Produce clear and detailed technical documentation outlining system architecture, components, and operational guidelines. Conduct in depth root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve defects within complex, integrated systems. Build, package, and deploy applications onto application servers or cloud platforms, ensuring smooth and reliable release cycles. Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to continuous improvement of development standards, practices, and processes.
