Job Description

Progressive Poultry Limited, trading as TigerChicks Limited, invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and dedicated individuals to join our Breeder Production team for the position of;

Responsibilities

• Supervising all poultry production activities on site.
• Verifying and ensuring the accuracy of site records, including mortality, egg production, and feed consumption.
• Ensuring adequate feeding space is maintained for all birds in accordance with prescribed standards.
• Monitoring bird condition, growth, and overall flock performance.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the site and surrounding areas.
• Upholding high biosecurity standards and ensuring strict compliance with all biosecurity procedures by site personnel.
• Ensuring excellent housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Poultry Production, Animal Science, or a related field. Relevant practical experience will also be considered.
• A minimum of two to three years' experience in poultry production.
• Sound knowledge of breeder production; prior experience on a breeder farm will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a results-driven environment.

This is a full-time position based in Lusaka West, Lusaka, Zambia.
