Technical Assistant (Security System Devices)

Job Summary

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of the Security and Safety Service, the incumbent provides comprehensive security system devices related technical support to the Security system team in particular and Security and Safety Service in general for effective and efficient running of the Security Information System.

Responsibilities

• Follow a daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plan for security system devices for existing bollards, traffic lights, Arm barrier, and related control box accessories and report equipment problems to security system technician.
• Responsible for installation work for cable tray, electrical power cables, electrical wire board connection and duct work.
• Follow up firefighting pipe installation work and report work progress to sit supervisor.
• Maintain central, ceiling and split air conditioners, maintain sanitary fixture, maintain boiler and kitchen equipment.
• Under the supervision of security system technician assist in maintaining breakdown mechanical part for the security system devices in the compound such as bollards and arm barriers.
• Assist installation of power and data cables for bollard if needed.
• Under the supervision of security system technician assist functionality test for bollards, traffic light, and arm barrier on standalone bases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
