Job Description
The Agricultural Economist will provide technical support to the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries in the development and implementation of agricultural policies and programs. The incumbent will analyze data and information to identify trends and opportunities for agricultural development, and will work with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to improve agricultural productivity and food security. The Agricultural Economist will also provide technical assistance to farmers and other stakeholders on agricultural best practices and technologies.
