Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Assistant Gallery Managerwill assist in maintaining;
- Management of gallery information technology and communications (ICT)
- Operation of audio-visual equipment
- Maintenance of gallery website and social media platforms
- Assistance to gallery manager of day-to day operations of the NAG
- Gallery public relations management
- Developing client lists and databases
- of gallery pieces
- Planning, organizing and marketing exhibitions and shows
- Ensuring the smooth running of the gallery
- Organizing workshops and seminars
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Grade 12 (Form VI) Certificate
- Minimum of a diploma awarded by a recognized institution in any recognized area of Visual Arts and Crafts.
- A degree in Fine Arts will be an added advantage
- Relevant work experience of at least 2 years for the Assistant Gallery Manager
- Member of the Visual Arts Council (VAC)
