Job Description

The Education Officer in Bamenda is responsible for the daily implementation of education activities, focusing on the catch-up program (CARED) and the Psycho Social Support Program (BLP). This role involves supporting formal schools in the Southwest and Northwest regions of Cameroon. The officer will ensure effective execution of educational initiatives and provide necessary support to enhance learning outcomes. The position is with the Norwegian Refugee Council and is based in Bamenda.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in education program implementation
• Knowledge of catch-up programs
• Familiarity with Psycho Social Support Programs
• Ability to work in formal school settings
• Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

The Education Officer is responsible for the day to day implementation of the Education field office activities with a particular focus on the implementation of the catch-up program activities (called the “CARED”), the Psycho Social Support Program (called the "BLP -Better Learning Program)", and all the support provided in formal schools in the Southwest and Northwest regions.
