Our client is currently looking for a Geometric Design Engineer to form part of their Roads Design team in their Pretoria office. They are a well-established medium size Civil and Structural Consulting Engineering Firm with Civil, Structural, Road and Traffic Divisions. The successful candidate will be encouraged to grow and develop their career through sharing the technical and professional knowledge and ethical standards with them. Exposure to the full process of the engineering will be provided.
Knowledge, Skills and Expertise
- Motivated, problem solving, ambitious and positive individual
- Good communication and people skills
- Designing on AutoCAD software
- Design prepare and evaluate specialist geometric solutions
- Provide the necessary assistance to team members
- Plan reproductions
- Issuing and filing of plans
- Any other tasks delegated by a supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- BTech or BEng in Civil Engineering
- 10 years of experience in the design of major roads
- Must be able work independently within a larger group
