Reports to:

SENIOR JOB OFFICER

Job Purpose:

To assist in the development and implementation of the Bank’s job evaluation and grading system to ensure that all jobs are accurately evaluated and graded in line with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Assist in the collection and analysis of job information from various departments.
• Participate in the job evaluation process using the Bank’s approved methodology.
• Prepare job descriptions and specifications for new and existing jobs.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Bank’s job grading system and database.
• Provide support to departments on job evaluation and grading related issues.
• Participate in salary surveys and benchmarking exercises.
• Assist in the preparation of reports on job evaluation and grading activities.
• Keep abreast of developments in job evaluation and grading best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or related field from a recognized University.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in job evaluation, grading or compensation and benefits management.
• Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies (e.g. Hay Group, Mercer) is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
