A fast-growing retail shop based in Chalala (Highlife area, Kasama Road) is seeking a disciplined and reliable Junior Cashier to join its operations team. This is not a position for the complacent. It demands consistency, integrity, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Requirements
- Must be 25 years or below
- Must possess relevant accounting qualifications (Certificate, Diploma or equivalent)
- Must be willing and able to work long hours, including weekends
- Must demonstrate the ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- High levels of honesty and accountability
Key Responsibilities
- Handling daily cash transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintaining proper records of sales and receipts
- Reconciling cash at the end of each shift
- Supporting basic stock and financial controls within the shop
- Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times
