People & Culture Officer

Reports to:

HR Manager

Location:

Kigali, Rwanda

Job Summary:

The People & Culture Officer will be responsible for providing support to the HR team in the implementation of HR policies, procedures and systems. The officer will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR Manager and other members of the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and other members of the HR team
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies, procedures and systems
  • Provide support in the recruitment and selection process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Provide support in the development and implementation of training programs
  • Assist in the coordination of employee events and activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
