Job Purpose
To ensure our products meet quality standards by inspecting, testing and documenting findings.
Main Responsibilities
- Inspecting Materials & Products: Conduct routine inspections of incoming materials and in process production to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory guidelines;
- Testing: Perform functional/processing suitability testing on products and ingredients; and
- Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously record inspection results and non-conformances, creating reports that support quality audits, traceability, and corrective actions
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology or Microbiology with at least one-year experience in quality control strongly preferred, OR
- A Diploma in Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology with at least 2 years’ experience in quality control strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills;
- Ability to thrive working collaboratively with senior colleagues, solve problems independently and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a strong work ethic, ability to work in teams and implement and test solutions.
- Knowledge of the HACCP approach or other management systems relevant to a food industry.
