Job Requirements

We are seeking a Professional Quantity Surveyor with strong PQS experience in the buildings sector to join a reputable PQS consulting environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to cost management, contract administration, and project financial control on building projects, with the capability to deliver high-quality commercial and technical QS services.

Role Requirements - Minimum 7+ years PQS experience in the buildings sector - Professional registration as QS (or close to registration) - Experience in cost planning, bill preparation, and financial reporting - Contract administration and variation management expertise - Site measurement and valuation experience - Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial risk management - Ability to work on large-scale residential, commercial, and institutional projects - Excellent analytical and reporting skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates and bills of quantities
  • Conduct site measurements and valuations
  • Manage interim payment certificates and financial reporting
  • Provide contract and commercial support throughout project lifecycles
  • Ensure cost control and value engineering initiatives
  • Support tender evaluations and procurement processes
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and client requirements
