Job Description

Responsibilities

The Bakers are responsible for producing high-quality bakery products in accordance with approved recipes, production schedules, and quality standards. Prepare and bake bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products. Follow approved recipes and production specifications. Maintain consistency in product quality and appearance. Ensure proper use of ingredients and minimise wastage. Maintain cleanliness of baking equipment and work areas. Monitor baking times and temperatures. Report equipment faults and production challenges. Assist in inventory monitoring and ingredient usage tracking. Comply with food safety and hygiene standards. Meet daily production targets.

Requirements

  • Relevant baking training or certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years' experience in commercial baking operations.
  • Experience in high-volume bakery production is preferred.
