Loan Origination: Market salary loan products, guide applicants through the application process, and ensure all required documentation (payslips, employment contracts, bank statements
Credit Assessment: Evaluate applicant creditworthiness by calculating debt-to-income ratios and cross-checking employment details with employers or HR departments.
Risk Management: Perform background checks, including Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) screenings, to assess current indebtedness and minimize loan defaults.
Portfolio Management: Monitor active loans, track monthly repayments, and proactively follow up with clients to prevent accounts from slipping into arrears.
Reporting: Prepare regular credit appraisal reports for branch management or the credit committee, ensuring all loans comply with statutory and organizational guidelines.
