Contract Term:

Annual with option for renewal

Salary Level:

(USD) $36,000 – $48,000 per Annum

Languages Required:

English, working knowledge of French, Kinyarwanda or Swahili will be an advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the MEL and Data Compliance Manager, the MEL Officer will be responsible for supporting the monitoring, evaluation and learning activities of the Pathways to Scale project across its implementing Countries. His/her roles and responsibilities will include;

  • Implement and contribute to the regular update of the MEL Plan, in line with Results-Based Management (RBM) principles, as well as organizational requirements;

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in social sciences, statistics or related field.

Experience & Competencies
  • A minimum of five years of experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation system and plans especially for women economic empowerment projects/programmes
  • Experience with designing and managing database systems such as salesforce and other data analysis software (required). Familiarity with the Google Workspace will be an advantage
  • Experience working with international development partners, international non-governmental organizations and donors.
  • Experience in capturing and translating project evidence into useful knowledge products... (rest of the qualifications)
