The Pro-Vice Chancellor supports the Vice Chancellor in academic leadership and institutional management, focusing on research excellence, international partnerships, and faculty development. This position plays a crucial role in advancing the university's research agenda, fostering international collaborations, and ensuring academic quality across all programs and departments. The Pro-Vice Chancellor works closely with faculty, research centers, and international partners to enhance the university's global reputation and academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Strategic support and specialized leadership areas
• Academic Affairs: Oversee academic programs, curriculum development, and educational quality assurance across faculties and departments.
• Research & Innovation: Lead research initiatives, promote innovation, and facilitate research collaborations both nationally and internationally.
• International Relations: Develop and maintain international partnerships, exchange programs, and global academic collaborations.
• Faculty Development: Support faculty recruitment, professional development, and capacity building initiatives across the university.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to institutional strategic planning and implementation of university-wide initiatives and policies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with industry partners, government agencies, and community organizations to advance university interests.

Pro-Vice Chancellor Profile

Mrs. Theresah Edusei Pearsah Aidoo is the Acting Vice Chancellor of KAAF University, a dynamic leader with over 15 years of experience in higher education governance and institutional development. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Management Studies with a focus on organizational leadership and strategic transformation. She also holds an MBA from the Ghana institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Bachelor's degree in Management.
