Key Responsibilities
- Leading clothing production teams to achieve daily production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
- Supervising operators, balancing workloads, monitoring production efficiency, supporting line changeovers, solving production issues.
- Ensuring garments are manufactured to Truworths' standards in a safe and productive environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric
- Minimum 10 years related experience at a senior level
- Diploma in Clothing Production or Management would be an advantage but not requirement
Competencies
- Prior clothing production experience essential
- Good technical garment construction knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Monitor lines to meet hourly/daily targets and track production plans
- Set up production lines using balancing sheets and execute line changeovers in the shortest possible time
- Attend pre-production meetings and actively contribute
- Strong leadership and can-do attitude
- Having a quality-focused mindset
