<p style="background-color: white; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0cm;">The purpose of this role is to provide enterprise-class, server and storage infrastructure technical support services.</p><ul style="list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 73px;"><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Relevant IT Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or Complete Microsoft Certifications (MCSE/MCITP)</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Storage Certification (Advantage)</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">A minimum of 5 years in a technical role (design, implementation and maintenance of servers and storage).</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Expect knowledge of hardware platforms, converged infrastructure, networking, SAN, NAS and subsystems.</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Strong knowledge of enterprise and mid-range storage, file system, cloud and virtualisation technologies.</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Experience in installation, upgrade, patching of server hardware and platform software.</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Experience in backup, recovery design, DR implementation, monitoring implementation, troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimization.</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including identity governance, conditional access, RBAC and SSO</p></li></ul><ul style="list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 37.8px;"><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Hands-on management of enterprise-class server, storage and cloud infrastructure</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Configure, upgrade, install and manage server and storage diagnostic, configuration and management tools</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Perform capacity management and planning to ensure scalability and availability of the server, storage and cloud environment</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, configuration and operational problems across the enterprise environment</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Maintain servers and storage area networks through practical and structured maintenance plans</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Manage and report on new implementations, lifecycle management, patch management, optimisation and service improvement initiatives</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Administer, manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including identity governance, conditional access, RBAC and SSO configurations</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Manage, troubleshoot and optimise Microsoft Intune including device enrolment, compliance policies, configuration profiles and application deployments</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Administer and support the Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and licensing management</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Investigate and resolve escalated issues related to Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft 365 services</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Work with vendor technical support to facilitate the analysis and resolution of complex technical issues</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Participate in the design and engineering of a secure server, storage and modern workplace environment and delivery of IT projects</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Lead and mentor junior team members and Systems Administrators in day-to-day technical operations</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Follow and enforce established change management processes in alignment with ITIL best practices</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Ensure systems administration tasks and documentation are kept up to date in compliance with operational standards and governance requirements</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery infrastructure planning, building and testing</p></li><li><p style="line-height: normal;">Drive continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure, endpoint management and operational processes</p></li></ul>
